Inspired by the intense heat of the glass blowing studio, her love of an open fire place in winter, and the joy of sitting around a camp fire talking with friends and family. Les Oranges A striking platter, featuring a very traditional motif of clusters of fruit. These platters and bowls play with the intensity of the orange on orange colour theme, broken up by the splashes of green. The intension here is to manipulate the overall shape of the piece by the placement and positioning of the coloured decoration, to make the glass pull and stretch as the pieces are spun and opened so that they turn out not symmetrical with unexpected, interesting curves and waves.
